Fountainhead has been associated with this client from past 14 years. We were responsible for entire conceptualisation and execution of this year’s event also right from designing the overall communication to stage fabrication, set designs to technical setup, permissions, selection of the artists and their management.
We translated the theme ‘Bravura’ through an innovative experience that celebrates every contributor who has helped the company in reaching its goals and making it the dominant player today
The three-day event started off with WCM Jury Meet at the Taj Lands End, Mumbai
A panel speaker session, which was moderated by Harsha Bhogle, took place on the first day with Boris Becker, Ravi Shastri, Baichung Bhutia and Roelant Oltmans
A motivational talk by Benjamin Zander, the famous Orchestra conductor, was followed by WCM Awards interspersed with stunning performances of ABG’s Got Talent finalists
Aptly utilizing the ballroom’s width, the entire stage for the first day was set up end to end with 5 screens which not only made it look grand but also ensured visibility from every possible angle
Second day of the conference was followed by a gala dinner for the ABG Chairman, Mr. Kumar Mangalam Birla, at the Hotel Sahara Star
The Chairman’s dinner featured a performance by one of the country's most prodigious saxophonists, Merlin and Rhys D’souza; whereas an internationally renowned Mentalist Roy Zaltsman regaled the attendees and left them awe-struck with his tricks
One of the highlights of the main awards night was the spectacular performance by a world renowned troupe, Cirque Du Soleil, that revealed the theme ‘Bravura’ by mixing circus arts with street entertainment
The set design for the main awards night was inspired by an art deco style of set designing with bold geometric shapes as well as lavish ornamentation which represented grandness, glamour and luxury
The event also saw a mesmerizing performance of Freckled Sky, which combined cutting edge multimedia technology and good old fashioned human creativity through a water projection and an interactive LED dance act.
Superbly designed and synced lighting enhanced the overall look of the setup which included seven LED screens that were used for projecting the speeches, category stingers and live feed
A gigantic 20 feet self-rotating awards trophy, reminiscent of the ABG Awards, provided a great photo-op for the audience
Holographic projection of the Late Mr. Aditya Vikram Birla was the show stopping moment which brought a teary eye to many in the audience
The night was high on entertainment with some extraordinary acts by Cirque Du Soleil, Freckled Sky, Omaggio performing company and a host of others
The grand ceremony concluded with a rocking performance by the Bollywood star Akshay Kumar
One thread that was common while working with Team Fountainhead was that all wanted to deliver their best and make ABG Awards 2015 the best event. Each one of you was striving for excellence; to cater to our changing requirements and to make a difference. How could we not have a great event if so many passionate and hardworking people work for Fountainhead!
